I will Write What I Like
My right for Freedom of Press
by mazuba mwiinga
I will write what I like….
I will write what I like because that’s what I like…
I will write what I like because there is nothing to like in this country any more…
I will write what I like because I have a free conscience…
I will write what I like because I have no choice other than what I like…
I will write what I like because what I like is not liked by those who don’t like their country…
I will write what I like because not to write what I like is to betray what this nation likes…
I will write what I like because
I will write what I like because who is there to shut us up talking about what this nation likes!
I will write what I like because ours is a time for a new revolution that we like….
I will write what I like because not do so is to undermine the power of the pen….
I will write what I like because today is my day; my day to express my freedom of the press…
I will write what I like because I am a writer, so I have to write….
Let me write what I like because that’s my human right to write…
Let me write what I like because posterity needs to know what we write….
Let me write what I like because if I don’t write no one will write what is right…
Let me write what I like because that’s the noble way to right the wrongs that they like…
Let me write what I like because what I write is the truth we like….
I was not going to write if I didn’t have the urge in me to write….
I was not going to write if my country wasn’t on auto pilot that we don’t like…
I was not going to write if my health was protected in case I fail ill not liked by me….
I was not going to write if my children have education future that we deadly like…
I was not going to write if my country was free from top class graft that we dont like…
I was not going to write if my president was like a Father; always at home for me as we like it…
I will write what I like because what I like is nothing but the best for my country that we like…
I will write what I like because I believe in Freedom of the Press that we all like….
HAPPY PRESS FREEDOM DAY FELLOW SCRIBES!!
